Yes, it has a great location around the corner from the British Museum.

Yes, it offer great rates of £18–£23 per person in a mixed-bed dorm (from £40 for a private twin), depending on the number of beds (4 to 16) and the night of the week (weekends are more expensive).

Yes, it has a nice shared kitchen, and a cool, tiny, nook-like courtyard with a hammock and dart board.

But the real reason I list this London hostel: I stayed here in 1993 along with a small group of friends, and it is the first place I got up the nerve to flirt with my closest friend in that group.

That friend is now my wife. Ergo: I love this hostel.
