Don't let the drab setting in a modern housing estate northwest of Paddington Station fool you.

The four rooms at this little B&B—Lemon, Orange, Grape, and Kiwi—are bright and cheery, and overlook the trees of an internal garden.

Orange sleeps two, with a private ensuite bathroom and flatscreen TV.

Grape sleeps three with a private ensuite bathroom, flatscreen TV, and balcony overlooking the garden.

Lemon and Kiwi are the cheaper rooms. Both sleep two, with an external bathroom shared with the owner (though note: the shower bathroom is downstairs).

The continental breakfast is self-serve but ample, the WiFi is free, and Uros and his mum couldn't be nicer.

It's walking distance from Hyde Park.
