Trains to Bath take 90 min (£17–£95) from London's Paddington Station

Trains to the Bath Spa rail station leave from London’s Paddington Station at least every hour.

The trip from London takes about 90 minutes.

Single (one-way) tickets from London to Bath cost as little as £17 when purchased a few weeks in advance, or £33–£95 (depending on the departure time) if you buy them within a few days of departure or just prior to embarkation.

There are also frequent trains to the regional hub in nearby Bristol, 15 minutes away.

The Bath Spa train station is actually right downtown, at the curve in the River Avon just a few blocks south of Bath Abbey (and the tourist office, and the Roman ruins) at the center of town.
