The "newest" part of his this historic manor house outside Shrewton was expanded in 1839—though parts date back to 1242.

The seven guest rooms have modern baths but historic appointments, like the sleigh bed in the Heathcote Room or the four-poster bed in the Cardigan Room (along with a claw-foot tub in the room itself; the toilet and sink are in the separate bathroom).

The rates include a Full English breakfast, and I recommend you reserve for at least one dinner in the restaurant.
