LSE Passfield Hall ☆☆☆
Dorm rooms between the British Museum and Covent Garden at the London School of Economics
You will have no doubt you are staying in a dorm here: Twin beds, built-in desk units, a washbasin in the corner.
But Passfield Hall is a nice dorm, with new (or newish) appointments in a listed Georgian building in the heart of the Bloomsbury university zone just north of the British Museum.
There are single,s twins, and triples—some with private bath en suite, others sharing a hall bath (for about 60% the cost)—and some of the rooms have a surfeit of windows, which keeps things cheery.
There's free WiFi and a complimentary breakfast buffet, a communal TV room with games, kitchen on each level (no dishes, though), coin-operated laundry, and a tree-shaded outdoor patio with tables.
